Lead Finder Tool

Searching for Businesses

The Lead Finder tool uses Google Places API to find local businesses that don't have websites. Our proprietary algorithm identifies businesses most likely to need your services.

See this in the Playbook: Find Your Lead

Industry/Keyword

Enter the type of business (e.g., "restaurants", "contractors", "salons")

Location

Enter a city, state, or zip code to focus your search

Pro Tip: Use specific industry terms like "HVAC contractors" instead of just "contractors" for better targeted results.

Filtering & Sorting

Refine your search results with powerful filters:

Rating Filter

Filter by minimum star rating to find well-established businesses

Review Count

Set minimum review count to target businesses with proven track records

Search Radius

Adjust the search radius to expand or narrow your geographic scope

Website Status

Our algorithm identifies businesses without proper websites

Exporting Leads

Export your search results to CSV for use in your CRM or email marketing tools.

Export Availability

CSV export is available on Professional and Max tier plans.

Exported data includes: Business name, address, phone number, rating, review count, and Google Maps URL.

Saved Leads

Managing Your Pipeline

Your Saved Leads tab acts as your sales pipeline, helping you track which businesses you've contacted and which are ready to convert.

See this in the Playbook: Save the Lead

Save Leads

Click the heart icon on any business to add it to your saved leads

Filter by Status

Use status filters to view leads at different stages of your pipeline

Bulk Export

Lead Statuses

Track your progress with each lead using three status stages:

New

Leads you've just saved. These are prospects you haven't reached out to yet.

Contacted

You've initiated outreach. Mark leads as "Contacted" when you send your first email or make your first call.

Built

The website has been created or sold. This status is automatically set when you create a project from a lead.

Note: When you create a project from a saved lead, the lead's status automatically updates to "Built" to keep your pipeline organized.

Projects

Creating a Project

Projects help you track client work, send previews, and manage revenue. Each project represents a website you're building or have built for a client.
