SiteSeeker MCP server

The SiteSeeker MCP server brings the lead finder into the AI app you already use. Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any of 21 supported apps to find local businesses with no website, then save the best ones to your SiteSeeker pipeline. Searches use your plan’s search credits; every other tool is free.

Server URL
https://siteseeker.ai/mcp

One URL for every app. You sign in with your SiteSeeker account, so there is no API key.

Set up in three steps

  1. Copy the server URL

One URL works in every app. There is no API key to create or paste.

  2. Add it in your AI app

Claude takes a one-click link. ChatGPT, Grok and Gemini take the URL in their settings.

  3. Sign in to SiteSeeker

Allow access on siteseeker.ai. You can disconnect any app in Settings, MCP.

You need. A SiteSeeker agency plan. Searches spend its search credits, and hosting-only accounts cannot search.

Choose your app

Each guide has the exact menu names, the command or config to copy, and fixes for that app’s common problems. In Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Goose, search results arrive as an interactive table with Save buttons. Other apps answer in text.

Tools

What a connected app can do, and what each tool costs. You ask in your own words and the app picks the tool.

search_leadsFrom 1 search credit

Finds local businesses with no website by niche and location, each scored from 0 to 100 with its rating, reviews, phone number and address. Takes optional filters for radius, rating and review count. A Quick search costs 1 search credit; an Advanced search covers a wider area and costs more. The same search again within 30 minutes is free.

Try: “Find roofers in Austin, TX with no website.”

estimate_search_costFree

Says what a search would cost on your account before it runs, and whether you have the credits for it.

Try: “What would an Advanced search for plumbers in Dallas cost?”

get_credit_balanceFree

Shows your plan, the search credits used and left this billing period, and when they reset.

Try: “How many search credits do I have left?”

get_lead_detailsFree

Returns everything SiteSeeker knows about one lead: contact details, hours, rating and the breakdown behind its lead score.

Try: “Tell me more about the second one. What are its hours?”

save_leadFree

Saves one lead to your pipeline in the New stage, ready to build a site for. Your plan may cap how many leads you can save.

save_leadsFree

Saves several leads at once, such as the top three, and reports each one as saved, already saved, not found or over your plan’s limit.

Try: “Save the top 3 to my pipeline.”

list_saved_leadsFree

Lists the leads in your pipeline, newest first, and can filter them by stage.

Try: “Which of my saved leads are still in New?”

Permissions and security

SiteSeeker signs your app in with OAuth, so you never create or paste an API key. When you add the server, your app opens siteseeker.ai, where you sign in and allow access. A connected app can:

  • Search for leads with your SiteSeeker search credits. Every search reports what it cost.
  • Read your saved leads and save new ones to your pipeline.
  • See your plan and credit balance.

It cannot build or publish websites, delete leads, or change your plan or billing. To disconnect an app, open Settings, MCP in SiteSeeker and press Disconnect next to it. Its access ends at once.

Troubleshooting

Problems that look the same in every app. Each app’s guide covers its own.

  • The search says your account cannot use the lead finder

The lead finder is part of the SiteSeeker agency plans. A hosting-only account cannot search from an AI app.

  • The search stops because credits ran out

Every search reports what it cost and what is left. Check your balance and plan in SiteSeeker, then search again. Saving leads costs no credits.

  • You want to disconnect an app

Open Settings, MCP in SiteSeeker and press Disconnect next to the app. Its access ends at once.

Still stuck? Email team@siteseeker.ai with the app you use and what you see.
