Connect SiteSeeker to Cursor

Add SiteSeeker to Cursor in one click and find leads from the Agent chat. Results arrive as a table you can save from.

By AnysphereCode editorResults as an interactive table

Before you start

  • Cursor installed. The results table needs Cursor 2.6 or later.
  • On Enterprise, SiteSeeker must be on your admin’s MCP allowlist.
  • A SiteSeeker agency plan. Searches spend its search credits, and hosting-only accounts cannot search.

Connect SiteSeeker

Cursor opens and asks to install siteseeker. Install it, then sign in to SiteSeeker when Cursor asks.

Or add it by hand

  1. Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or to .cursor/mcp.json in a project:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "siteseeker": {
          "url": "https://siteseeker.ai/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Open Customize in the sidebar, find siteseeker and sign in to SiteSeeker when Cursor asks.

Note. Results show as an interactive table from Cursor 2.6. On Enterprise, an admin allowlist can limit which MCP servers you can add.

Cursor’s own setup guide

Check it works

Open the Agent chat and ask:

Your first search

Find roofers in Austin, TX with no website.

SiteSeeker answers with a table of scored leads, each with its rating, phone number and a Save button. The search uses 1 search credit.

Troubleshooting

  • Add to Cursor did nothing

    The link needs the Cursor app on this computer. Paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json instead and restart Cursor.

  • The sign-in window never opened, or it timed out

    Open Customize in the sidebar, find siteseeker and sign in again.

  • The Agent does not use SiteSeeker

    Check siteseeker is turned on in Customize, then ask again in the Agent chat.

  • The search says your account cannot use the lead finder

    The lead finder is part of the SiteSeeker agency plans. A hosting-only account cannot search from an AI app.

  • The search stops because credits ran out

    Every search reports what it cost and what is left. Check your balance and plan in SiteSeeker, then search again. Saving leads costs no credits.

  • You want to disconnect an app

    Open Settings, MCP in SiteSeeker and press Disconnect next to the app. Its access ends at once.
