Before you start

  • LM Studio 0.4.10 or later.
  • A SiteSeeker agency plan. Searches spend its search credits, and hosting-only accounts cannot search.

Connect SiteSeeker

LM Studio opens and asks to add siteseeker. Add it, then sign in to SiteSeeker in your browser.

Or add it by hand

  1. In LM Studio, open the Program tab in the right sidebar, then Install, then Edit mcp.json.

  2. Add SiteSeeker and save:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "siteseeker": {
          "url": "https://siteseeker.ai/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  3. Sign in to SiteSeeker in your browser when LM Studio asks.

Note. Sign-in to MCP servers needs LM Studio 0.4.10 or later.

LM Studio’s own setup guide

Check it works

Start a new chat with SiteSeeker turned on and ask:

Your first search

Find roofers in Austin, TX with no website.

SiteSeeker answers with a list of scored leads, each with its rating, address and phone number. The search uses 1 search credit.

Troubleshooting

  • LM Studio never asks you to sign in

    Update to LM Studio 0.4.10 or later. Earlier versions cannot sign in to MCP servers.

  • Add to LM Studio did nothing

    The link needs LM Studio on this computer. Paste the config into mcp.json instead.

  • The search says your account cannot use the lead finder

    The lead finder is part of the SiteSeeker agency plans. A hosting-only account cannot search from an AI app.

  • The search stops because credits ran out

    Every search reports what it cost and what is left. Check your balance and plan in SiteSeeker, then search again. Saving leads costs no credits.

  • You want to disconnect an app

    Open Settings, MCP in SiteSeeker and press Disconnect next to the app. Its access ends at once.
