Connect SiteSeeker to ChatGPT

Add SiteSeeker to ChatGPT as a plugin and find leads in any chat. Results arrive as a table you can save from.

By OpenAIWebResults as an interactive table

Before you start

  • ChatGPT on the web. Custom MCP servers depend on your plan.
  • In Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, an admin may need to add SiteSeeker or let you add it.
  • A SiteSeeker agency plan. Searches spend its search credits, and hosting-only accounts cannot search.

Connect SiteSeeker

Server URL
https://siteseeker.ai/mcp
  1. On chatgpt.com, open Plugins, press + and choose Add custom MCP server.

  2. Name it SiteSeeker, paste the server URL and set Authentication to OAuth.

  3. Press I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin, and sign in to SiteSeeker.

  4. Install it from your plugins, then in a new chat type @ and pick SiteSeeker.

Note. Custom MCP servers are added on chatgpt.com, not in the mobile apps, and depend on your ChatGPT plan. In Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin decides who can add them.

ChatGPT’s own setup guide

Check it works

Start a new chat, type @, pick SiteSeeker and ask:

Your first search

Find roofers in Austin, TX with no website.

SiteSeeker answers with a table of scored leads, each with its rating, phone number and a Save button. The search uses 1 search credit.

Troubleshooting

  • There is no Add custom MCP server option

Your plan or workspace does not allow custom MCP servers yet. In a Business or Enterprise workspace, ask an admin to add SiteSeeker for you.

  • ChatGPT answers without searching SiteSeeker

Type @ and pick SiteSeeker at the start of the message, so ChatGPT uses it in that chat.

  • The sign-in window never opened, or it timed out

Open the SiteSeeker plugin, check the URL ends in /mcp and Authentication is OAuth, then connect again.

  • The search says your account cannot use the lead finder

The lead finder is part of the SiteSeeker agency plans. A hosting-only account cannot search from an AI app.

  • The search stops because credits ran out

Every search reports what it cost and what is left. Check your balance and plan in SiteSeeker, then search again. Saving leads costs no credits.

  • You want to disconnect an app

Open Settings, MCP in SiteSeeker and press Disconnect next to the app. Its access ends at once.
